Hello and welcome to Anna’s Art Club!
In this weeks tutorial we are drawing a little astronaut. as also ways feel free to get creative with your drawing, it doesn’t have to be the same as mine, maybe your astronaut is gold and has a square helmet eyes, go for it, let your imagination go!
What you will need:
I’m using my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil with the app procreate to draw my robot but you can use anything you want! If you don’t have a tablet you will need…
- A pencil
- Colouring Pencils or Pens
- A black pencil/pen for the outline
- A piece of paper or sketch book
- A rubber
- A sharpener
Using Procreate? Download the colour palette below!
Ready? Ok let’s do it! You can watch the tutorial here.

Prefer colouring to drawing? No problem!
I’ve created a free downloadable colouring sheet to go along with the video, perfect for kids’ craft sessions, classrooms, or creative downtime at home. I have added a timestamp to the video so that you can start the tutorial after the drawing is done. You can find the colours I used above if you want to use the same as me.

I’d love to see your robot drawings! Tag me on Instagram (or ask a grownup to do it for you) @Annaraedesign or email me at Anna@raedesign.co.uk. Don’t forget to subscribe to Anna’s Art Club for more drawing tutorials and printable goodies.
